♥ I am happy to accept various forms of payment, including paypal, debit and credit cards.

♥ Personalisation details should be stated as part of the checkout process, but feel free to contact me to discuss the details prior to placing an order so you can buy with confidence.

♥ Orders will only be shipped after payment has cleared.

♥ If you wish to cancel or change your order please state the reason in writing (via conversations) as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, as all items are handmade by me and many are made to order.

♥ Personalised or Custom orders can only be cancelled or changed if I haven't already completed them so please check the details and spellings carefully to avoid costly mistakes. If you want to revise minor details on a personalised order that I have completed ready for shipping I will try and accomodate this but there will be a fee for the extra work involved which I will agree with you before making any changes.

♥ Payment is set to GBP(£) and is not subject to VAT.

♥ All items will be shipped by Royal Mail and will be carefully packaged to ensure they are delivered to you safely. My creations are also beautifully gift wrapped..... because all my customers are special to me and you deserve a treat! If your order is a present and is being sent directly to the recipient please let me know and I will exclude any notes for you. I am happy to add a personal gift message in with your order instead... just let me know when you checkout.

♥ UK shipping is Royal Mail second class as standard except for my greeting cards which are shipped first class; an upgrade to first class is available for all other items.

♥ International shipping is tracked for all items sent as a parcel. My smaller items that ship large letter will be sent international standard to keep your costs down. Please note this does not include tracking but an upgrade to tracked and signed is available if you prefer. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

♥ All orders will be shipped as soon as possible after payment has cleared. Often I am able to make your item and post it within 3-5 working days, but occasionally things take a little longer, particularly close to Christmas, so there may be a slight delay. Personalised or Custom Orders typically take longer than standard orders, but I always aim to complete orders quickly so you are not waiting for your goodies longer than necessary.

♥ If you have a particular deadline for receiving an item, please let me know when you order, or better yet, get in touch before hand so we can discuss options for expediting delivery if need be. I will always try to help if I can.

♥ In the unlikely event that your parcel is lost by Royal Mail I will send a replacement once Royal Mail consider it officially lost. For UK second class mail this is normally 13 working days after posting; for UK first class mail it is 11 working days after posting. International mail will be longer. RM working days are Monday through Friday. If your item was one of a kind that cannot be remade I will offer you the option of a suitable alternative that is as close to the original as possible, or a refund.

♥Holmemade Privacy Policy

If you are a Holmemade customer, subscriber, or visitor to my Etsy Shop, this policy applies to you and I encourage you to read it carefully. I have set out below everything you could ever wish to know about how I collect, use and store personal information from my customers and followers. However if you still have any questions after reading this, please contact me.

♥ Personal Information I Collect
When you contact Holmemade via my website, by email, phone, Facebook, Instagram or in person, you might provide me with details such as your name, address and email address. This is most likely to be when you are ordering, or discussing a possible order.

When you shop on Etsy you will provide information such as your name, address and email address to Etsy and they are only authorised to pass this on to me when you place an order.

When you purchase a personalised card or gift you may also provide other relevant information so I can complete your order with the correct personal details.

When you sign up to my newsletter you provide your name, email account and the month of your birthday… and that last one is only if you choose to provide it… so I can wish you a happy birthday!

When you visit my website some information from your computer or mobile device, including, but not limited to, your browser type, operating system, IP address and the domain name from which you accessed the site may automatically be collected. IMPORTANT NOTE: I never have access to your financial information when you make payments via Etsy (my online shop), iZettle or Paypal (invoiced payments) or bank transfer. All sensitive financial information is held securely by the processing companies, and they never share this with me, or anyone else.

♥ How and Why I Collect Information
I treat your privacy and integrity very seriously so I only collect and use information for the following reasons:
• Where I have your explicit consent (eg when you sign up to my newsletter)
• To fulfil my contractual obligations to you when you purchase from me
• For the purpose of my legitimate interests, eg to provide a service you requested, to operate my business (eg completing my tax return) or to improve my ongoing customer service
• To comply with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
• Otherwise in accordance with the law.

I use Mailerlite to manage my mailing list. I will only ever add you to this list if you give your clear consent, by signing up to receive my newsletter either via an opt in form or at a face to face event. Whenever you order from me, either directly, via my Facebook page, Instagram or through my online Etsy shop, I need sufficient information about you to enable me to process the order, provide customer support and settle disputes (though I would very much hope there are never any of the latter!).

If you get in touch via the contact form on my Website I will assume you are giving me consent to use the information you provide so I can reply (no surprise there eh?!).

♥ Who Has Access To Your Information
Aside from my partners listed below, this is simple - just me!
As designer - maker, (not to mention photographer, marketing rep, accountant, packer and customer service person) for Holmemade, I am the only individual who ever has access to your information, and I never, ever pass this on to anyone else.

I use Mailerlite as a way of managing my Mailing List, and your details are stored on their secure servers if you sign up.

Mailerlite include Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in all their Data Processing Agreements concluded between themselves and their sub-processors to ensure they are fully GDPR compliant.

If you shop here on Etsy, they will hold information about you. They take the security of your data very seriously. All credit card information sent to Etsy is encrypted using SSL technology and stored in a PCI compliant environment. Etsy follows industry standards to protect other payment and personal information, both during transmission and after it is received. ♥ How I Use Your Information
If you make a purchase from Holmemade I will use the information you have provided to get in touch if I need to update you on your order. I may need to clarify some details or suggest alternative design options and you may have asked to see photos of the finished item to check you are delighted, before I ship it. I will then use your address information to make sure your purchase reaches you safely. If your parcel gets damaged or lost during shipping (it’s not happened yet) I will use your contact details to chase it up with my Shipping provider, Royal Mail, and if necessary to make a claim so I can either replace the item for you or provide a refund.
I retain information about completed orders to comply with tax legislation.

I send out occasional newsletters to those who have signed up to my mailing list. My newsletters only provide information about Holmemade. The sort of thing you can expect to receive is:
• Information about new products I have in my Etsy shop
• A sneak peek at new designs I am working on
• Events I am attending where you can purchase my work directly
• Behind the scenes photos
• Other information about what is happening here at Holmemade
• Occasional offers exclusive to members of my mailing list
Subscribers to my mailing list can opt out at any time. There is an opt-out message at the bottom of each of my newsletters, or you can contact me directly and ask to be removed.

If you have completed the contact form on my website, or got in touch via Facebook or Instagram messaging, you can expect to hear from me using the contact information you've provided.

♥ How I Store Information
I keep an electronic spreadsheet of all my customers and their orders. This is held on my password-protected computer which is only used by me. My computer lives on my desk which sits in my craft room at home. It isn’t portable… so I will never accidentally leave it on a train!!

I use this spreadsheet to efficiently carry out my business and provide a high level of customer service, so I can recall previous orders and potentially create something to match if you request it. I retain the information for accounting and tax purposes for 7 years.

I keep proof of postage receipts with addresses on for up to a year. However these do not include customer names. These are stored securely in my craft room.

♥ Your Rights
You can ask me at any time what information I hold about you, and I will give you full details free of charge. You also have the right to ask that your details be deleted, amended or transferred, unless I need them for legal reasons.

You may object to me processing some of your information based on my legitimate interests and to receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using your information or if I need it for legal reasons. In these instances I would clearly explain why I need to retain your information.

Finally, if you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information, you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
